In industrial production, belt conveyor is an indispensable and economical conveying equipment for production lines, which helps to realise continuous production, automation and improve production efficiency.
Belt conveyor has strong conveying capacity, long conveying distance, simple structure and easy maintenance, and can easily implement automatic operation. According to the specific conveying requirements, one belt conveyor can be used, or several belt conveyors can be combined or combined with other conveying machinery to adapt to the different layout of the production line, which is widely used in ports, metallurgy, cement, coal, chemical industry, building materials, hydropower and other fields.
Belt conveyor mainly consists of two end rollers and a closed conveyor belt which is tightly set on it. The roller that drives the conveyor belt is called the driving roller, and the roller that changes the direction of movement of the conveyor belt is called the steering roller. The driving drum is driven by an electric motor through a reducer, and the conveyor belt is dragged by the friction between the driving drum and the conveyor belt. The material is fed from the feeding end, falls on the rotating conveyor belt, and is transported to the discharging end by the friction of the conveyor belt.
